HISTORY: Early Life history
STRENGTHS:
Resolve- Giorno is overflowing with resolve in everything he does. He does not work toward things he does not believe in or support and so he is able to be completely sure of himself in nearly everything he does. This resolve allows him to make drastic decisions on the spur of the moment and turn what could have been a huge load into a victory.
Compassion- In spite of Giorno's trust issues he is a fairly compassionate person, showing hate for those who put the innocent or vulnerable in harm's way. Even in the face of great odds he will work toward a resolution that takes away that threat. He does not agree with the senseless loss of uninvolved lives and will charge forward on that ideal.
Charisma- Once he has shown his true self to someone, Giorno is naturally charismatic. He often speaks from his heart to these people and it is his genuine nature, at that point, that can endear people to him. But his charisma is not only in his words, he backs those words with action, making them more real, which increases the willingness of others to follow under his banner. With people he trusts and is open with beside him he refused to fail, if only for the sake of keeping them safe, in return for believing in him.
FLAWS:
Self-sacrificing- Giorno has a tendency to let his resolution and compassion overwhelm his sense of survival. While he often plans for ways to get around the things he risks, he will act quickly in a way that costs him more than others, very rapidly. He is prone to acts of resolve such as cutting off both his arms to get rid of an enemy, rather than allow a trusted team mate to make the same sacrifice. If he is put in a spot where he has to act before he can plan a contingency, he could risk leaving himself useless.
Trust issues- Thanks to his childhood Giorno is hesitant to trust people, to an extreme extent. He can act friendly and sociable but he does not truly trust others. In his experience trust is formed based off a mutually beneficial action, which then binds people together. As such he rarely allows others to know his honest feelings or opinions. He will, oftentimes, hide negative ideas behind a friendly seeming smiles and small talk, while avoiding being the first to express himself.
Solitary- Having no real friends to speak of, and no family to depend on Giorno has become wholly self-sufficient, to a point where he does not consider the idea of others being capable of helping him, nor willing to. He expects to do everything on his own, and believes that this is the way the world is. He will not actually share his intentions with most people, only those who have managed to gain his trust, and even then he will often act first and leave them to figure out what he is doing on their own.

The mafia don whom Giorno saved as a child, and taught him how to trust others, was actually also a Hunter. Giorno was never aware of that aspect of the man, only knowing the work he did, as a don, to improve the city he grew up in.
Giorno's powers emerged when he was 14, and with its emergence, his hair changed from black to blond
Giorno never had the name Haruno Shiobana, he was named Giorno by his mother, hoping to project her desires for her own life on her son. Giovanna comes from Giorno's step-father.
Giorno's mother and step father are dead, having died in an accident just months before Giorno's power emerged. Giorno is unaware of his biological father Dio Brando.
AU PERSONALITY DEVIATION:
Giorno is coming in pre-canon, so while his desires and motivations exist, he does not yet have a path to follow to reach them.
He is more isolationist than canon, preferring to depend on himself only.
Giorno is more likely to be a false friend and false nice person to avoid getting close to people.
RACE:

SECRET SOCIETY: Unaware of connection, loosely, to a hunter growing up. He manifest his powers and was recruited to the school.
POWERS:
Taking from Jolyne's book and going with Stand is pretty much a Familiar. In Giorno's case he has to have Gold Experience, his Familiar, out in order to use any of his powers, he is able to create partial exposure to work things, so sometimes it's Gold Experience's hand on his or similar. The transfer of energy to enact his powers is through contact from GE's hands, so if both of those are lost, he cannot work his powers.
Accelerated plant growth- he can speed up the growth and life cycle of any plant, causing seeds to germinate, sprouts to grow, and mature plants to die and even reach the point of decay
Flora metamorphosis- he can transform objects into specific plants or seeds, but he must know the plant intended and the mass must be relatively similar. He can transform processed and unnatural compounds as well. The size of the transformation is determined by his stamina, if he is injured or worn out, he cannot produce as much.
Accelerated animal growth- he can use his metamorphosis ability to turn an object into an egg for an animal, though it does not include mammalian eggs, and cause the animal to grow from that egg rapidly.
Fauna metamorphosis- he can transform items, and non-living things into animals. These animals instinctively search out the other portion of themselves if they are part of a whole, and once they have it, to return to him. Once again the mass is a factor, but in this he can transform things into an animal with a smaller mass. There is something of a time limit on this, which is directly connected to how much energy he invests in the transformation.
Rebound damage- everything that he creates through the above metamorphosis is able to rebound the energy of an attack made against it back on the one who attacked. It is scaled to the intended damage, so a light hit would only cause a light hit in return, where as a devastating attack would cause devastating damage in return.
Life infusion- when punching a living target he can transfer life energy into them, this will cause their mind and body to function at different rates, most commonly seen is the person’s will and consciousness moving far ahead of its body in a nearly superhuman state. This pseudo out of body experience is not realized as such right away and, as the consciousness cannot control their body fast enough to utilize the accelerated awareness, they often receive whatever physical attack is coming at them after that point. This is exceedingly painful as they can feel as individual nerves are hit, and as each minor bit of damage is done. Even an experienced fighter laments of not being able to mentally handle this kind of damage twice in a fight.
Partial body transformation- Eventually, with practice and necessity, he could be able to create portions of bodies to replace lost or damaged areas. This cannot be done if the wound is too old, nor can this bring back someone who is dead. It can be used on objects inside the body, allowing him to repair things like bullet wounds with the bullets still inside efficiently. This can be used on himself, but it is a body part replacement and not healing, as such the original material is not returned and it does nothing to prevent pain.

I, Giorno Giovanna, have a dream. I dream to become someone of power who can remove the filth and corruption I have seen in my home. I have a dream of becoming a GangStar.

It is essential for a school to provide a secure location, free from the dangers of drugs, or other negative influences, with proper support for its students to pursue their passions.
7. WHAT COURSE WORK DO YOU DETEST MOST? WHY?
I cannot stand work that forces me to repeat myself. If I am not heard from the start than they have no intention to listen further. Such a waste of effort is useless, completely useless.
8. WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN OUTSIDE YOUR EDUCATION?
I do not participate in any. I find team activities to be difficult to understand, and I would much rather read and learn, than busy myself with solo activities in a group.
9. WHEN GIVEN FREE TIME, WHAT DO YOU DO WITH IT?
Steal? I enjoy spending time out in the cities, taking in the scenery, the people, trying foods and simply enjoying my time, peacefully.
10. WHEN UNDER PRESSURE OF A TIGHT DEADLINE, HOW DO YOU RESPOND?
I calmly consider what needs to be done, and determine what factors might delay other parts and complete them. Then I figure out the most difficult things and do those, by which time I should only have easy to complete aspects going into the actual deadline itself.

I most often take a leadership role, and from there determine my groups strengths and weaknesses, the. Direct people to portions that are supported by their strengths. (lie)Then I do all of the project myself, I refuse to fail because of others.

In the end we all must rely most upon ourselves. We are our own greatest ally, resource and confidante. To put your faith in others is foolish, and wasting the time doubling efforts by planning for their failure is useless.
16. WHAT MEMORIES DO YOU HOPE TO HOLD AT THE END OF YOUR JOURNEY?
Memories? I do not care much for memories, they are fleeting and often inaccurate. Besides they are of actions taken, once an action is done it cannot be undone, so memories are pointless to hold onto.

As I mentioned before, I will become a GangStar, and see the streets of my home cleaned of the drugs that are pushed into the hands of children and the vulnerable. I look forward to crushing that trade from existence.
